    El alumnado de la Escuela de Magisterio de Albacete ante el sistema ECTS: sensibilidades y expectativas

    En el curso 2005/2006, la E. U. de Magisterio de Albacete puso en marcha un proyecto piloto en toda la titulación de Maestro de Educación Primaria, con el fin de experimentar de una manera realista los importantes cambios estructurales que suponía la adaptación al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior. Ofrecemos en el presente artículo un resumen de los resultados más significativos obtenidos en un cuestionario distribuido a la totalidad del alumnado de Educación Primaria en el curso 2006/2007, el segundo en el que se implementó el nuevo sistema.

    Determinantes del rendimiento académico en los estudiantes de grado. Un estudio en administración y dirección de empresas

    The Bologna Process has led to the implementation of new methodologies at university that may influence students in such a way that new factors may play a relevant role in explaining academic performance. The aim of this paper is to analyse the influence of a range of factors on students' performance by comparing results with previous contributions. The study focused on management and business administration students. Results confirm the existence of factors in line with previous studies. However, other factors such as personal organization and planning, or participation in integration programs have a greater influence than in the past. We therefore believe that universities should place more emphasis on training organizational skills and study habits, as well as on promoting tutorial action plans to help improve students' academic performance.

    Integration in the European higher education area: the case of military education

    Military training has always been considered as an education system with its own characteristics that distinguished it from the rest of higher education. However, different initiatives have been developed in order to integrate military education in the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). This paper analyses the European system of military institutions of higher education (MHEI). Results indicate MHEI sector has distinctive features that have increased the diversity of European HEIs. Further, the emergence of the MHEI sector can have benefits for both the European defence and their educational attainment. From a defence point of view, it can help the development of a European strategic culture and increase cooperation between countries in defence and security. From the education area modernisation, it will improve defence and security related research and may enhance defence knowledge transfer. In this way, the MHEI sector will be positioned as key player in the development of the Common Security and Defence Policy and a European strategic culture.

    Necesidades formativas del profesorado universitario en el contexto de la convergencia europea

    La creación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior está generando importantes cambios a nivel legislativo, administrativo y pedagógico en los países comprometidos en armonizar sus sistemas universitarios. Este proceso de adaptación implica una nueva forma de organizar y evaluar las instituciones universitarias y diversifica las maneras de enseñar y de aprender. Con el propósito de conocer las opiniones del profesorado sobre las reformas que se están realizando y valorar las repercusiones en su actividad docente, hemos realizado una investigación con 1015 profesores para identificar sus necesidades formativas en diversas temáticas relacionadas con la convergencia europea. Los resultados obtenidos nos orientarán en el diseño de planes de asesoramiento y formación del profesorado universitario.

    Las Webquest en la docencia universitaria: aprendizaje colaborativo con LAMS

    WebQuest is a didactic resource based on the constructivist learning and on the cooperative methodology that at the moment is a very successful in Pre-School, Primary and Secondary level. This introductory article aims to show an utilization proposal of this resource at university level with LAMS -Learning Activity Management System- through such virtual environments as Moodle.
