Resumen: | A principios de los años 70,
Roland Barthes acuña el término de ‘es-
critura ilegible’, haciendo referencia a
occidental. In the early 70s, Roland Barthes coined the term ‘illegible writ- ing’, to refer to a series of mysterious and unintelligible graphics, that have the ability to write the pulse of the body, much against the economic logic that governs the discursive apparatus of the phallo-logocentric system. In that line, according to Barthesian terminolo- gy, the works of Irma Blank, Mirtha Dermisache and Pierrette Bloch attack the rational and the discursive order of language trough an enigmatic and silent writing, in which the infinite trace of the signifier is released from the stability provided by meaning. Thus, in a new conception of writing and reading, the work of these artists manages to cap- ture a non-subjective authorship, which is beyond the arrogance and egocen- trism imposed by the metaphysics of presence in the Western system. |
