dc.description.abstract	Rafael C hirbes manifestó un acusado interés por el ritmo, el tono y la puntuación de sus textos en prólogos y e ntrevistas. E ste artículo trata de explicar la visión que e l autor ofrece sobre estas nociones y la importancia que adquieren en sus novelas . Los pasajes aducidos muestran cómo el ritmo lingüístico de la prosa, el tono y la puntuación generan efectos de es tilo que se pueden conectar con la actitud y el carácter de los personajes y con la inte rpretación conjunta de las novelas . Este examen revela además d o s de los rasgos estilísticos más definitorios del usus scribendi de Chirbes: las figuras de repetición y la anteposición al verbo de miembros e incisos	es
dc.description.abstract	Chirbes declared his particular interest in rhythm, tone and punctuation in prefaces and interviews. This article attempts to explain the vision that the author offers o f these three elements and the importance they take on in his novels. The pas sages highlighted here show how the linguistic rhythm of the prose , the tone and the punctuation create stylistic effects that can be l inked to the attitude and personality of the characters and to the overall interpretation of the novels. This analysis also reveals two of the most defining stylistic traits of Chirbes ́s usus scribendi: repeating figures and the placement of members and pa renthetical phrases before verbs.	es
