Description
Abstract
The aim of this paper is to show how, despite the nowadays foreseen end of metaphysics, this discipline is still necessary and ineliminable regardless of its insufficient results and the impossibility of achieving its owns tasks. Schopenhauer and Heidegger’s views will help us bring this old Kantian thesis up to date. In doing so, the deep connection between both authors will be highlighted at the same time.
