dc.description.abstract	Nuestra intención es apuntar hacia un marco de reflexión sobre el papel del silencio y el lenguaje a la luz del pensamiento de Oriente y Occidente. La «Comunidad del lenguaje» se interpone siempre entre nosotros y la «realidad», glosándola, desarrollando todo tipo de filigranas semánticas, filtrándola y modelándola a la medida de las necesidades de una humanidad desfondada y perdida en sus preguntas y respuestas. Nuestra experiencia del mundo y de nosotros mismos está siempre mediatizada por la interpretación que hacemos de ellos. El silencio por su parte puede ser un elemento adecuado para acercarnos a lo ignoto, al misterio, al «despertar»… No es de extrañar pues que hayan sido filósofos, poetas y místicos los que más han cantado las excelencias del silencio.	es
dc.description.abstract	Abstract: I intend to indicate an intellectual field concerning the role of silence and language in light of Eastern and Western thinking. The «community of language» always intervenes between ourselves and «reality», annotating it, developing all kinds of semantic filigrees, filtering it and modelling it according to the necessities of a humanity that is exhausted and lost in these questions and answers. Our experience of the world and ourselves is always mediated by the interpretation we make of them. Silence can be an appropriate element for approaching the unknown, the mystery, the «awakening»… It is not surprising, then, that philosophers, poets, and mystics have been the ones to sing the praises of silence.	es
