Description
Abstract
This article is part of a broader research project, which aims at analysing the introduction of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) in primary and secondary schools in the Spanish Autonomous Community of Galicia, and its effect on the teachers' professional development, as well as the organisational changes that it brings about. More specifically, this article focuses on one of the three case studies conducted during the qualitative phase of our research. The case study is the result of the analysis of (1) participant observations at a primary school in Galicia, (2) formal and informal interviews (some of them in-depth ones) to key informants, and (3) the analysis of different institutional documents, diaries and field notes. In this article we will only refer to the professional development dimension.
