Abstract
El presente artículo refleja la importancia que tiene la
educación musical en la formación integral de los escolares y
el logro que con la LOGSE supuso la creación de la
especialidad de Maestro Especialista en Educación Musical.
Así mismo, pretende ser una llamada de atención ante la
propuesta efectuada por la Red de Magisterio que en su
informe final de «Adecuación de las Titulaciones de Maestro al
Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior» apuesta por eliminar
las especialidades existentes, proponiendo dos únicas
titulaciones de Grado: Educación Infantil y Educación Primaria.
This article reflects the importance of music education in the integral education of school children and the achievements that with the LOGSE were supposed in the creation of the Specialist Teacher in Music Education. At the same time it wishes to draw attention to the proposal of the Red de Magisterio in thier final report on «Adecuación de la Titulaciónes de Maestro al Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior» (Adaptation of Primary Teachers Qualifications to the European Area of Higher Education) backing the elimination of the existing specialities and proposals for just two qualifications: Infant Education and Primary Education.
