Abstract
Este trabajo pretende
ahondar en el origen de la humillación
consentida, el comportamiento huidizo,
involutivo y cobarde, en apariencia,
que caracteriza a los protagonistas de
las novelas Pequeñas maniobras de
Virgilio Piñera y Memorias del subuelo
de Fiódor Dostoievski, para poder
plantear la posibilidad de que Piñera
haya recogido el testigo del autor ruso
reelaborando a la manera cubana el
perfil del hombre del subsuelo.
This paper aims to delve into the origins of consensual humiliation, elusive, involution and cowardly behavior apparently characterized by the protagonists of the novels Small Maneuvers written by Virgilio Piñera and Notes from Underground by Fyodor Dostoevsky, to raise the possibility that Piñera has picked up the baton of Russian author reworking in the Cuban way the profile of the underground man.
