Abstract
En este trabajo se señala, primero, la importancia de las antologías en México para
definir su canon poético y, después, se profundiza en el caso de la antología Poesía en
movimiento, publicada en 1966 por los poetas Homero Aridjis, Alí Chumacero, José
Emilio Pacheco y Octavio Paz, quienes moldearon el canon poético mexicano y, al
mismo tiempo, se posicionaron a sí mismos dentro de él.
This paper analyses the predominant role of Mexican literary anthologies in establishing the literary canon. It will do so by focusing on the poetic anthology Poesía en movimiento (1966), edited by poets Octavio Paz, Alí Chumacero, José Emilio Pacheco and Homero Aridjis. With its publication, they established the poetic canon which prevails to this day. In doing so, they consolidated their power and authority within the field.
