Abstract
La falta de consenso en la delimitación de la categoría de chengyu consiste
en que se trata de un grupo de expresiones concisas, de formato fijo y de
procedencia antigua, conservadas hasta la actualidad pero distintivas de los
modismos españoles. Debido a su amplio uso en chino, este trabajo elige
los ejemplos extraídos del clásico Shanhai Jing (en español: Libro de los
montes y los mares) como objeto de análisis y estudia la clasificación de
metonimia en ellos partiendo de dos perspectivas. Antes del surgimiento del
paradigma cognitivo, los estudios de estas expresiones idiomáticas se
limitaban a un nivel descriptivo, pero la aparición y el desarrollo de la
Lingüística Cognitiva nos permiten explicarlas más profundamente. La
incorporación del enfoque cognitivo tiene como finalidad reconocerlas en
otra dimensión, abriendo un nuevo camino para explorar las figuras
retóricas en chino.
The lack of consensus in the delimitation of the chengyu category consists in the fact that it is a group of concise expressions, in fixed format and of ancient provenience, conserved until today but distinctive from the Spanish idioms. Due to its wide use in Chinese, this work chooses examples extracted from Shanhai Jing (in English: The Classic of Mountains and Seas) as the object of analysis and studies the classification of metonymy in them from two perspectives. Before the emergence of the cognitive paradigm, the studies of these idiomatic expressions were limited to a descriptive level, but the appearance and development of Cognitive Linguistics allow us to explain them more deeply. The incorporation of the cognitive approach aims to recognize them in another dimension, which opens a new way to explore the figures of speech in Chinese.
