Estudio de la exposición de arte español de Buenos Aires en 1947, una de las primeras iniciativas del franquismo en las que se
puede constatar la instrumentalización de la vanguardia. Análisis de los aspectos organizativos y de la selección mostrada, así como
revisión hemerográfca de la crítica aparecida en torno a ella. Puesta al día de la lectura historiográfca que se ha hecho de ella, y
propuesta de nuevas líneas interpretativas a través del punto de vista de “lo español”.
Study of the contemporary Spanish art exhibition in Buenos Aires in 1947, one of the frst events in which we can trace the exploitation of the avant-garde by the Franco regime. Analysis of organizational issues and art selection, as well as research of the critics’ reviews based on the original sources. Updating of the historiography appeared around it and suggestion of new interpretative parameters from the point of view of “the spanishness”.
