Description
Abstract
The aim of this study is twofold: first, to determine if there is an association between mental and motor BSID-II scales and BINS scale in average infantile population, and second, to analyse the predictive value of the four conceptual areas of BINS scale as compared to BSID-II scales. The participants were 16 infants (aged 12-22 months), who were assessed through the mentioned scales at the same time. The results indicated a significant association between BINS scale and BSID-II scales, as well as a high predictive value between them. These results show that BINS scale can be used as a screening instrument.
