Description
Abstract
y dislexia.
The stages of the research about the functional hemispheric specialization (research of clinical neurological cases, lateral dominance in normal subjects and perceptive lateralization) and the principal techniques and methods used in them were analized. From these techniques, and in relationship with reading disabilities in children, first those of lateral dominance and more recently those the perceptive lateralization (dichotic listening and tachistoscopic lateralization) were used. The work of lateral dominance and :reading had lead, in principle, to believe what a poor stablishment of fonner can impinge upon learning's reading disturbance, but later critical reviews were shown that not necessarily occur in this way. With regard to perceptive laterality, these works are increased explicative models about the perceptive hemispheric specialization but they don's have lead to obtain conclusive empirical evidence on relationship between perceptive laterality and dyslexia.
