Abstract
Resumen: El dramaturgo Michel Vinaver (1927) es una de las personalidades mayores del teatro francés contemporáneo. La escritura del autor es insólita y muy original. Su singularidad reside fundamentalmente en el carácter polifónico del texto dramático, que está marcado, como diría Sarrazac (1981), por una fuerte pulsión rapsódica.
En Les travaux et les jours (1979), Michel Vinaver nos introduce en la cotidianidad de las relaciones entre la empresa Cosson, sus empleados y sus clientes. El autor se apoya en este universo profesional para mostrarnos la correlación entre la esfera privada e individual y la vida socio- política y económica. Espectador de una trama de palabras entremezcladas que configuran la acción, el lector se ve obligado a agrupar esos retazos
yuxtapuestos con el fin de transitar por un espacio cacofónico y “construirse” una historia.
El objetivo de este artículo es presentar los mecanismos lingüísticos y textuales utilizados por el autor para, por una parte, provocar una discontinuidad discursiva y, por otra, proveer el material verbal necesario a la articulación de la información y a la progresión referencial.
Abstract: The dramatist Michel Vinaver (1927) is one of the most important personalities of contemporary French theatre. His writing is unusual and very original. Fundamentally, its singularity lies in the polyphonic structure of the dramatic text which is distinctively marked by a strong rhapsodic drive, as Sarrazac (1981) would say. In Les travaux et les jours(1929), Michal Vinaver introduces us in the everyday life of the firm Cosson, its employees and its clients. The author relies on this professional universe for showing us the interrelationship between the private and the individual sphere and socio-political and economical life. The reader –spectator of a jumbled words weave that shapes the action– is forced to move into a cacophonic space and to construct a story. The goal of this paper is to present the linguistic and textual strategies used on the one hand to distort reading and on the other hand to provide with the verbal material that allows for the referential continuity.
