Abstract
En este artículo estudiamos un conjunto de 39 monedas halladas en el término municipal de Vilanova d’Alcolea (Plana Alta, Castelló). Las piezas proceden principalmente del yacimiento de L’Hostalot, donde se emplazó la antigua mansio Ildum, y han aportado valiosa información sobre la economía y el poblamiento de esta posta romana de la vía Augusta.
In this paper we study a lot of 39 coins found in the municipality of Vilanova d’Alcolea (Plana Alta, Castelló). The pieces come mainly from the L’Hostalot site, where the ancient Ildum mansio was located, and have provided valuable information about the economy and the settlement of this Roman post on the via Augusta.
