dc.description.abstract	This essay emphasizes the relevance of the di- rector and the actor in the configuration of the staging in the 20th century. Staging on which the twenty-first century is based. The testimonies of critics, and, above all, of directors endorse this affirmation. The director is the one who throug- hout the successive stages of the stage montage harmonizes the set of elements that intervene in the scene; and the actor is the one who embodies the text and the idea of the director.	es
