E-learning en cursos dirigidos a sobrecargos de aviación

Abstract

En este artículo se presenta un estudio sobre la repercusión del uso de herramientas tecnológicas en las calificaciones de tests diagnósticos correspondientes a un curso de capacitación dirigido a sobrecargos de aviación. El estudio se llevó a cabo comparando los resultados de tests que realizaron los sobrecargos al inicio de su capacitación presencial anual en 2013, 2014 y 2015. Previo a realizar los tests diagnóstico, los sobrecargos estudiaban con el apoyo de un cuadernillo de trabajo en papel, pero en el 2015, se implementó un curso en línea que contó con herramientas tecnológicas como videos, y presentaciones interactivas multimedia montadas en una LMS. Las calificaciones asociadas al estudio con las herramientas tecnológicas, tuvieron un incremento con respecto a los dos años anteriores 2013 y 2014. La inclusión de herramientas tecnológicas en procesos de capacitación a sobrecargos, podrían contribuir a elevar los resultados de las evaluaciones y en el desarrollo de competencias específicas con las que requiere contar este tipo de personal técnico.

This article presents a study on the impact of the use of technological tools in grades at disgnostic tests in a training course aimed at flight attendants. The study was conducted comparing the results of tests performed by attendants at the start of their annual face-to-face training in 2013, 2014 and 2015. Prior to perform the diagnostic tests, attendants studied with the support of a workbook on paper, but in 2015, an online course that featured technological tools such as videos, and interactive multimedia presentations on a LMS was implemented. Grades associated with the study with technological tools showed an increase over previous two years, 2013 and 2014. The inclusion of technological tools in attendants training processes could help to improve the results of evaluations and the development of specific skills required by this kind of technical personnel
