Coreografía de una bala: "dos biografías" de Juan Gil-Albert

Abstract

Este artículo pretende desarrollar un anális is metodológico, histórico y estético de dos textos del poeta alicantino Juan Gil - Albert. Se trata de las biografías breves de dos figuras fundamentales de la cultura en la primera mitad del siglo XX; ambas enigmáticas y singulares que requieren de un trat amiento que casi podríamos denominar poético. Esto es, que el biografismo gil - albertiano presenta una prosa de carácter ensayístico y poético, donde las anécdotas personales adquieren una dimensión filosófica importante. Así pues, no solam ente hablaremos d e las posibles huellas que estos autores pudieron haber dejado en el pensamiento del poeta, sino también cómo se relaciona el narrador con los propios artistas biografiados y sus estéticas. Se trata del Jean Cocteau, el polifacético artista francés, y el p oeta vanguardista ruso Vladimir Maiakovski. Como vemos, ambos sujetos con proyectos extremadamente rupturistas que los enfrentaron a sus respectivas sociedades que, a su vez, representaban dos caras de la misma Europa: Francia y la Rusia Revolucionaria. La selección de asuntos y aspectos tratados en los respectivos autores se convertirán en claves de la propia obra literaria de Juan Gil - Albert, pero su tratamiento narrativo en relación con dos artistas nos indica, al mismo tiempo, una preferencia o predilec ción que delata un proyecto estético en nuestro propio autor.

This paper aims to develop a methodological, historical and aesthetic analysis of two texts by the poet Juan Gil - A lbert, from Alicante. These are brief biographies of two fundamental figures of culture in the first half of the 20th Century; both enigmatic and singular that require a treatment we could almost call poetic. That is, that gil - albertian biography presents an essayistic and poetic prose prose and poetic, where personal anecdotes acquire an important philosophical dimension. Thus, we will not only talk about the possible traces these authors may have left in the poet’s thinking, but also how the narrator rela tes to the biographical artists themselves and their works. This are Jean Cocteau, the versatile french artist, and the avant - garde Russian poet Vladimir Maiakovski. As we see, both subjects with extremely rupturist projects which confronted them with thei r respective societies that, in fact, represent two sides of the same Europe: one France and other the Revolutionary Russia. The selection of issues and certain aspects will become keys to Juan Gil - Albert’s own literary work, but his narrative treatment in relation to these artists indicates, at the same time, a preference or predilection that shows an aesthetic project in our author.
