Paremiología: perspectivas interdisciplinares.

Abstract

Abstract: This research belongs to the paremiology, the scientific discipline dedicated to the paremias or brief and sententious statements. This disci- pline was created in the 20 th century and established in the 21 st century, which distinguishes the French and Spanish paremiography from the paremiography observed in the Middle Ages. After selecting a repertoire of French paremias, which will serve as the base of the present work, we will study the relationship between paremiology and terminology, between theory and practice of translation. This study will show the values of the paremias and therefore the utility of the paremiological research to deepen in the knowledge of the language and the culture of a country.

Résumé: Ce travail s’encadre dans la parémiologie, la discipline scientifique qui étudie les parémies ou énoncés brefs et sentencieux. Il s’agit d’une discipline créée au XXe siècle et consolidée au XXIe siècle, ce qui établit une différence avec la parémiographie, car celle-ci existe déjà au Moyen Âge, dans le cas de la parémiographie française et espagnole. Après avoir sélectionné le recueil de parémies françaises qui sera la base de ce travail, nous étudierons le rapport existant entre la parémiologie et la terminologie, entre la théorie et la pratique de la traduction. Cette étude mettra en relief les valeurs que possèdent les parémies et, par conséquent, l’utilité de la recherche parémiologique afin de mieux con- naître la langue et la culture d’un pays
