Estudio fraseológico del cómic Mafalda: análisis contrastivo español/francés

Abstract

This report aims to propose a reflection on the phraseological units and to carry out a diatopic and interlinguistic contrastive analysis of them through Mafalda comic strips, in order to stu- dy relations and influences between the phra- seological universes of these languages from a semantic and pragmatic point of view. To do this, a corpus based on criteria of semantic and pragmatic complexity has been developed. On the other hand, we analyse the work of the translator, not with the intention of criticizing his task, but to discover what options have been preferred facing a text with these characteris- tics, why certain decisions and how the inter- pretation leads to the production of unique and different texts.

Ce travail propose une réflexion sur les uni- tés phraséologiques et leur traduction, à partir d’une analyse contrastive diatopique et inter- linguistique espagnol/français des bandes des- sinées de Mafalda, visant les relations et les influences entre les univers phraséologiques de ces langues d’un point de vue sémantique et pragmatique. Pour ce faire, un corpus, basé sur des critères de complexité sémantique et prag- matique, a été élaboré. Nous analysons le tra- vail du traducteur, non dans le but de critiquer sa tâche, mais de découvrir quelles options ont été privilégiées face à un texte aux caractéristi- ques particulières, d’inférer pourquoi certaines décisions ont été prises, et de comprendre com- ment l’interprétation conduit à la production de textes uniques et différents.
