Les Asturies contées par les Belges.

Abstract

Resumen: En el presente artículo proponemos seguir el rastro de varios autores, todos belgas francófonos, que se han interesado por Asturias en los siglos XIX y XX: Herman Bodson, Mathieu Corman, Albert Ayguesparse, Joseph Mélot, Albert t'Serstevens, Nojorkam, Jacques Izoard, Eugéne Savitzkaya y Eric Brogniet. A través del estudio de sus obras, novelas, ensayos y poemas, analizaremos una serie de motivos recurrentes (la revolución de octubre de 1934, algunas costumbres y tradiciones, los paisajes, la gente) para determinar la visión de Asturias que surge de sus escritos.

Abstract: This essay is an attempt to trace a number of authors - all of them Francophone Belgians - who have shown an interest in Asturias in the XIXth and XXth centuries: Herman Bodson, Mathieu Corman, Albert Ayguesparse, Joseph Mélot, Albert t'Serstevens, Nojorkam, Jacques Izoard, Eugéne Savitzkaya and Eric Brogniet. Through the study of their work - novels, essays and poems - we will analyse a series of recurrent motifs (the 1934 October revolution, behaviours and traditions, landscapes, people) in order to determine the vision of Asturias that comes out of their writings.
