El zapatismo en la literatura mexicana: el caso de Juan Villoro

Abstract

El zapatismo chiapaneco es un movimiento sociopolítico que ha utilizado mucho, y de forma afortunada, el discurso como arma de combate, capaz de construir un relato que le fuera favorable para ganar el apoyo social del pueblo mexicano. Ese discurso ha sido, además, eminentemente literario, de la mano de los relatos y novelas que ha firmado su portavoz, el subcomandante Marcos. Así, vemos como el impacto del EZLN ha sido notable en la literatura mexicana y en muchos otros países. En este artículo nos proponemos investigar el impacto que ha tenido en la obra de uno de los más célebres y respetados escritores mexicanos, Juan Villoro, así como desvelar la evolución de su posición política ante este movimiento en los últimos veinte años

The zapatismo chiapaneco is a sociopolítical movemen that has used widely and successfully speech as a combat weapon, in an attempt to construct a statement that was favorable to gain the social support of the Mexican people. This speech has been, in addition, eminently literary, whit the statements and novels that there his spokesperson, the subcommander Marcos has signed. This way, we see how the impact of the EZLN has been notable in the Mexican literature and in many other countries. In this article we propose to investigate the impact that Juan Villoro has had in the work of one of the most famous and respected Mexican writers, as well as to reveal the evolution of his political position before this movement in the last twenty years.
