La palabra lejío (castellano: ejido ) circula , fuera de la acepción del diccionario académico ( DILE ) , con diversas etiquetas: murcianismo, extremeñismo, andalucismo, mancheguismo, canarismo, vulgarismo, neologismo y topónimo , entre otras . Como suele ocurrir con otras palabras desusadas y de dominio di alectal , la inercia idiomática la ha llevado a ser considerada como término privativo, genuino o endémico de una geografía lingüística muy extensa marcada por el prestigio encubierto de sus hablantes . La información y localización de los usos de la palabra lejío se encuentran de manera descontrolada y dispersa en los nuevos y abundantes recursos hipertextuales. En esta nota lexicográfica, además de algunas fuentes tradicionales, se utilizan los buscadores de internet (Google) y las redes sociales (Facebook) como herramientas útiles para evaluar los usos lingüísticos y su valoración lexicográfica en un determinado momento del proceso de estandarización lingüística
