dc.description.abstractA training program on access and use of information developed with seniors in the "Hall of Elders" of the University of Murcia is described. This teaching was done by designing a course called "Access and Use of Information in today's society", which was held in the third year of the "Diploma" studying at the University of Murcia people between 50 and 80 years old. The contents of the course included the teaching of search skills, location, analysis and use of information from all kinds of sources, including technology literacy-related skills such as using e-mail, databases and Internet exhibitions covering teaching methods, group work, analysis of institutions and practices in the use of information technology. Once designed and delivered, the evaluation of the results was performed using the methodology of the survey, concluding a positive assessment of these learninges
