Murambi, le livre des ossements: la tradition orale au service d’une histoire dite nationale.

Abstract

Resumen: Murambi, le livre des ossements de Boubacar Boris Diop es el personal testimonio-denuncia de este autor senegalés del genocidio ruandés de 1994. Reunir las distintas voces del pueblo ruandés en la reconstrucción del genocidio, es una forma de recrear la historia y de luchar contra el Mal en el mundo como consecuencia última de la pugna por el poder en nombre de la identidad. Este proceso de recuperación conduce al escritor a la toma de conciencia de la necesidad de recurrir a las lenguas africanas y de privilegiar los mecanismos de la oralidad como búsqueda de la identidad del pueblo africano. Como fin último, Boris Diop aboga por la necesidad de crear una historia nacional hecha por los africanos y para los africanos y de alimentar la creación de una literatura que se destine al pueblo africano en su lengua natal. Frente a ésta, se situarían las ¨literaturas de transición¨, escritas en las lenguas del colonizador.

Abstract: Murambi, le livre des ossements by the Senegalese author Boubacar Boris Diop is a critical personal testimony of the Rwandan genocide of 1994. The author reconstructs the genocide by bringing together the different voices of the people affected by it, as a way of recreating history and combating the Evil that exists in the world as the ultimate consequence of the struggle for power in the name of identity. This process of recovery leads the writer to the realization that, in the search for African identity, African languages and the mechanisms of orality as a search for the identity of African people. The ultimate goal, Boris Diop argues for the need for a national history created by Africans for Africans, and feed the creation of a literature designed Africans in their native languages. In opposition to this stand the transition litera tures, written in the languages of the colonizer.
