La ciencia escolar y la ciencia cotidiana. Interrelaciones mutuas

Abstract

La alfabetización científica es un tema formativo de especial importancia, en cuyo desarrollo están implicados diferentes agentes (escuela, educación no formal, medios de comunicación..). Todos ellos contribuyen a que el ciudadano disponga de los conocimientos e intereses que le permitan actuar responsablemente en la sociedad. En esta línea, en este trabajo se pretende averiguar en qué medida la información científica aparecida en los medios interesa y es comprendida por los universitarios. Además se analiza la posible correspondencia existente entre las noticias científicas y la percepción que de ellas tienen los estudiantes.

The scientifi c alphabetization is a formati ve subject of special importance, in whose development different agents are implied (school, nonformal education, mass me dia…). All of them contribute to give the citizen the knowledge and interest that can allow him to act responsibly in the society. In this line, in this work it is tried to fi nd out in what measure the appeared scienti f i c information in different media interests and it is understood by the Universty stu dents. In addition is analyzed the possible connection existing between the scientifi c news and the perception that the students can have of them.
