Empleo y jóvenes.

Abstract

El artículo, cuyo origen se encuentra en la ponencia presentada el 15 de junio en el Seminario, aborda la problemática de los jóvenes y el empleo, con el punto de referencia de la Ley de Empleo. En primer lugar, se examinan datos estadísticos sobre la población juvenil española y su acercamiento al mundo laboral. En segundo lugar, es objeto de atención la citada Ley, los preceptos que se refieren directamente a la juventud, y otras normas que le afectan. Por último, se formulan algunas reflexiones, a modo de propuestas de actuación para la mejora de la situación laboral del colectivo,

The article, which originates from the paper presented at the Seminar on 15 June, deals with the issue of young people and employment, with the Employment Act as a reference point. Firstly, statistical data on the Spanish youth population and their approach to the world of work are examined. Secondly, attention is given to the aforementioned Law, the precepts that refer directly to young people, and other regulations that affect them. Finally, some reflections are formulated, by way of proposals for action to improve the employment situation of this group,
