La búsqueda y el fracaso en la inteligibilidad como parte de la construcción de la identidad dramática

Abstract

La Teoría narrativa de la identidad sugiere que el sujeto se entiende y se da sentido al narrar su experiencia en forma de narración. Esto le facilita planificar reflexivamente sus acciones y darles sentido con respecto a su historia vital. Sin embargo, la Teoría narrativa de la identidad no contempla que la inteligibilidad se origine durante la interacción, sino al narrarla antes y después de esta. Este trabajo presenta como alternativa la Teoría dramática de la identidad que ayuda a la teoría narrativa a lidiar con las dificultades del dar sentido cuando el sujeto actúa. Este enfoque dramatúrgico-actoral es capaz de ofrecer una nueva explicación sobre la inteligibilidad durante el pro-ceso actoral gracias a las Tres etapas de la acción.

Narrative identity theory suggests that the subject understands and makes sense of them-selves by telling their experience narratively. This makes it easier for them to reflectively plan their actions and make sense of them with respect to their life history. However, the Narrative theory of identity does not understand that intelligibility occurs during the interaction, but rather by narrat-ing it before and after the interaction. This paper presents as an alternative the Dramatic theory of identity that helps narrative theory to face on the difficulties of making sense when the subject acts. This dramaturgical-acting approach is able to offer a new explanation of the intelligibility during action thanks to the Three stages of action
