More and more the study of the relationships among peers stands out as an educational need within the teaching/learning process. The social infection among peers in the classroom favours both the cognitive development and the aeqn is ition of school contents because of a reorganization and construction process. The main objective of our work was to get to know the social atmosphere in the classrmms in which there were pupils who repeated one year, and to try to find whether they were integrated with the non- repeating ones or not. The instrument used to define the relationships among the components of the E.G.B. class rooms was a sociometric test. With the information obtained we elaborated both a soeiomeiric matrix and a differentiation contrast between proportions for independent samples: the "Z". To sum up, we concluded that studenu who repeat one year, in relation to their integration, are less accepted and more rejected than the rest of the students in tire class room, therefore tile need for the teacher to organize the paticipation structure in the class room by means of cooperative and grou pal teaching strategies and iechpiques. |
