Un aphorisme-caillou? Brièveté à l’aune du minéral dans l’aphorisme poétique français contemporain.

Abstract

Dentro del género reflexivo de los aforismos, especialmente en su forma poética, el imaginario mineral ocupa un lugar prominente en el vigésimo siglo; la metáfora lexicalizada del “estilo lapidario”, pero también los motivos del relámpago o el guijarro, especialmente vivaces, implican una cierta concepción de la brevedad. La propuesta aforística es presentada como un rayo deslumbrante que impide la elaboración y petrifica al lector. Sin embargo, en el curso de este siglo, este imaginario mineral, así como la poética del aforismo, evolucionan y enfatizan la imaginación por encima del golpe violento, involucrando así a los lectores en una colaboración más activa con el texto.

Within the reflective genre of aphorism, especially in its poetic form, mineral imagery occupies a prominent place in the 20th century: not only the lexicalised metaphor of the “lapidary style”, but also the motifs of the lightning strike or of the pebble, which are particularly vivid images, imply a certain conception of briefness. The aphoristic proposition is presented as a dazzling flash that prevents elaboration and petrifies the reader. However, in the course of the century, this mineral imagery, and with it the poetics of the aphorism evolve and emphasize imagination rather than violent shock, thus involving readers in a more active collaboration with the text.

Du caillou aux pas japonais: brièveté à l’aune du minéral dans l’aphorisme poétique français contemporain Au sein du genre réflexif qu’est l’aphorisme, notamment sur son versant poétique, l’imaginaire minéral occupe une place de premier plan au XXe siècle: la métaphore lexicalisée du style lapidaire, mais aussi les motifs de l’éclair ou du caillou, particulièrement vivaces, engagent une certaine conception de la brièveté. Percutante, la formule aphoristique est présentée comme une fulgurance qui déjoue l’élaboration et pétrifie les lecteurs. Pourtant, au cours du siècle, cet imaginaire minéral, et avec lui la poétique de l’aphorisme, évoluent pour insister davantage sur l’accueil que sur le heurt et proposer ainsi une relation aux lecteurs qui soit davantage collaboration active.
