Ferrer i Guardia : la ingenuidad de un viaje platónico

Abstract

El presente escrito trata de reclamar la actualidad de Ferrer i Guardia, buscando hacer una nueva lectura del personaje. Ferrer es interpretado, no sólo como un hombre convencido del efecto ecuménico y reparador de la Pedagogía, sino como un modelo de educador para la paz, y como un profesional que desarrolló su trabajo, de forma autónoma, obedeciendo sólo a los dictados de su conciencia. Será esta visión, tan personal como ingenua del trabajo en el aula, y sus radicales actitudes las que le llevarán a pagar tan cara su libertad. Las actitudes de Ferrer con respecto a la enseñanza pueden ser tomadas como modelo para los profesionales que hoy están implicados en la empresa de la reforma educativa.

This paper treats to carry the present time of Ferrer i Guardia, making a new reading of the personage. Ferrer is interpreted, not only as a convinced man of the repairing and ecumenic effect of the Pedagogy, but as a model of educator for the peace, and as a professional that developed their work, of autonomous form, obeying only to the dictations of their conscience. It will be this vision, so personal as naive of the work in the classroom, and its radical attitudes which will carry it to pay so high price by their freedom. The attitudes of Ferrer with respect to the education can be taken a model for the professionals that today they are involve of the educational reform.
