Aprender a convivir en una sociedad aterrorizada

Abstract

Si este artículo pretende estimular el aprendizaje de la convivencia, principalmente en el ámbito de la escuela, es porque existen causas que producen el hecho de la violencia. Cuando hay violencia no existe convivencia. Por eso, la primera parte del trabajo se centra en una descripción de la violencia física. estructural y cultural. Pero, también se desea salir de ese atolladero del que la humanidad no ha sabido, aún, emerger. ¿Será posible? Creemos que sí, a condición de que la sociedad se lance sin temor y apoyo a la construcción de una cultura de paz. Finalmente, la tercera parte de este escrito termina cerrando el discurso, pidiendo socorro a la escuela, a la educación. Si ésta enseña a convivir, usando los instrumentos técnicos al uso, no sólo conseguirá ser ejemplo de convivencia para sí misma, sino que también contribuirá a crear espacios de comunicación dialógica en el entorno que la rodea. Definitivamente y como siempre, seguiremos estando agradecidos a sus servicios.

This paper tries to stimulate a way of learning to live together, especially at school, because there are causes which are responsible for violence. When there is violence, there is no co-existence. That is why the first part of this work is centred on the descripiton of physical, structural and cultural violence. But we also want to get out of this situation from which humantity has not yet emerged. Is it possible? We think so, but with one condition, which is that society should undertake without fear the creation of a peace culture. Finally, the third part of this work, tries to complete the discourse, asking for help from schools and to education. If education is able to teach us to live together, it will, not only manage to be an example of living together in itself, but also, it will help to create communication spaces in its surroundings. As always, we will be really grateful for its services.
