Constitutions represent a Project of coexistence that involves the triumph of Freedom over Power, because they entail the sublimation and the apotheosis of the progressive unveiling of the idea of Freedom in history and the achievement of the eternal human reasoning that the power of one man over others is limited and controlled. These ideas, obviously, need some mental and social development that can only be reached through training and education. Overall, the idea of Constitution brings with it the need to believe in it and this can only be achieved through its spreading, dissemination and transmission. Consequently, constitutional education becomes the only instrument to make the constitutional plan successful because the Constitution is not to be imposed by force; the Constitution only prevails through appropriate constitutional education. The importance of education and the construction of a plural citizenship is also to be underlined. |
