| Resumen: | Résumé: Le général Thiébault écrit ses Mémoires dans les années trente du XIX siècle. Les souvenirs de son séjour en Espagne et de la Guerre de
l’indépendance ont subi la force du temps et la transposition littéraire. Thiébault réorganise son passé et son rapport à l’histoire: les stéréotypes qui signifi ent le pays conquis et son peuple, travaillent son texte en filigrane. Abstract: General Thiébault wrote his Memoirs in the 1830s. His memories of his time in Spain and the Peninsular War have suffered from the passing of time and literary transposition. Thiébault reorganized his past and his place in history: stereotypes representing the conquered country and its people run through his writing. |
