Renacimiento, de Javier Moreno: un humanismo transcultural de pasiones eleusinas.

Abstract

Este artículo analiza el poemario Renacimiento del poeta español Javier Moreno (Icaria, 2009) con el objetivo de demostrar que esta poética, aunque plenamente anclada en la realidad del siglo veintiuno, navega tiempos y espacios para poner en paralelo la sociedad contemporánea con los rituales órficos de renacimiento de la antigua Eleusis. Basado en el concepto de un nuevo humanismo transcultural, este trabajo pone en relieve, entre otras, las conexiones de talante filosófico, geopolítico o tecnológico entre un pasado mítico y nuestra sociedad contemporánea. En última instancia, se defiende que Renacimiento se trata de una apuesta poética que retoma antiguas mitologías eleusinas para reactivar su operación en el escenario digital y sociocultural contemporáneo, uno donde, según el filósofo francés Michel Maffesoli, “la mística y la tecnología se unen en un mixto sin fin”.

This article presents an analysis of the book of poems Renacimiento by the Spanish writer Javier Moreno (published by Icaria, 2009). It aims at showcasing a poetics that, though deeply rooted in the reality of the 21st century, still navigates time and space with the goal of creating an analogy with the ancient orphic rituals of rebirth from Eleusis. Based on the idea of a current transcultural humanism, this reading emphasizes, amongst others, the philosophical, geopolitical or technological connections between mythic times and our present. Ultimately, Renacimiento offers a poetic proposal that reactivates ancient Eleusian mythologies in our current digital and sociocultural scenario. This is one in which, according to the French philosopher Michel Maffesoli, “mysticism and technology are perpetually reunified”.
