Análisis y valoración del Cementerio Presbítero Maestro para su revalorización dentro de la ruta internacional de Art Nouveau en Lima

Abstract

El presente Trabajo Fin de Máster analiza y valora el Museo Cementerio General Presbítero Maestro de Lima con el fin de su integración en la red de itinerarios turísticos urbanos de Art Nouveau en la ciudad de Lima. Fundado en 1808, durante la última etapa del virreinato, es el primer cementerio extramuros de Suramérica y un espacio patrimonial de primer orden dentro del conjunto urbano limeño. En él se puede observar la evolución del arte y la sociedad civil durante los siglos XIX y XX, por lo que es una pieza clave para el desarrollo de nuevos circuitos turísticos patrimoniales de la ciudad, sobre todo, tras la reciente inclusión de Lima en la ruta europea del modernismo, puesto que trata de integrar los circuitos Art Nouveau, de carácter sepulcral, a los urbanísticos, ya existentes, del centro histórico de la ciudad. El método utilizado es mixto, cualitativo y cuantitativo, este último no experimental, descriptivo y exploratorio, mediante la técnica encuesta, a partir de un cuestionario a 135 participantes locales. Asimismo, con la elaboración de un diagnostico DAFO/CAME se ofrece la posibilidad de ampliación de la oferta de internacionalización turística de la ciudad al necroturismo, buscando la mejora del aprovechamiento de las infraestructuras ya existentes en transportes, hotelería y comercio de Lima, con vistas al desarrollo de las celebraciones del bicentenario de la independencia del Perú y sobre todo, con la ambición de que resulte una contribución al desarrollo local. The present Master's Final Project analyzes and evaluates the General Presbyter Master Cemetery Museum of Lima in order to integrate it into the network of urban Art Nouveau tourist itineraries in the city of Lima. Founded in 1808, during the last stage of the viceroyalty, it is the first cemetery outside South America, and a first-rate heritage space within the Lima urban complex. In it you can see the evolution of art and civil society during the 19th and 20th centuries, making it a key piece for the development of new heritage tourist circuits in the city and especially after the recent inclusion of Lima in the route European modernism, which tries to integrate the sepulchral art Nouveau circuits with the existing urbanistic circuits of the historic center of the city. The method used is mixed, qualitative and quantitative, the latter non-experimental, descriptive and exploratory, using the survey technique, starting from a questionnaire to a 135 of local participants. Likewise, with the preparation of a SWOT / CAME diagnosis the possibility of expanding the city's offer of international tourism to necrotourism is offered, seeking to improve the use of infrastructure already existing in transportation, hotels and commerce of Lima, with a view to the development of the celebrations of the bicentennial of the independence of Peru and above all, with the ambition that it will be a contribution to local development.
