Within the framework of the Initial and Continuing Training for Advisors in Andalusia –a cornerstone for the operation of Farm Advisory Services and a competence of the Institute of Research and Training in Agriculture, Fisheries, Food, and Organic Production (IFAPA) which aims to contribute to the modernization of the sector and the improvement of its competitiveness– several training projects have been implemented since 2016 to meet their training needs. After several calls for aid to grant subsidies aimed at supporting the use of cross-cutting advisory services, the first call for aid in Andalusia (December 2023) to support the use of sustainable advisory services in organic production was published. With IFAPA’s challenges including increasing the professional capabilities of technicians by promoting specialized training programs and technology transfer adapted to their needs and incorporating technological innovations that facilitate access to available information, a specialized offering repository was created within the framework of the ongoing advisor training project. This repository includes specific materials for their qualification in the field of organic production in the form of online courses available on the IFAPA platform, which are tutored by experts. This method (via e-learning) makes the updating of knowledge compatible for technicians who require it with their active employment situation. This article aims to show what these digital contents are that IFAPA offers for qualification as an organic advisor, as well as briefly describe the methodology employed in this regard.

Repatriates and reverse knowledge transfer in MNCs
(2018) Sánchez Vidal, M. E.; Sanz Valle, Raquel; Barba Aragón, María Isabel; Organización de Empresas y Finanzas
There is widely-held assumption that knowledge is one of the most important drivers of firm’s performance. Multinational companies (MNCs) have the potential advantage of acquiring and utilizing knowledge across borders. But for this potential advantage to become real, the knowledge generated in any of their units around the world should be transferred to their other units. This paper adopts an innovative approach for the study of intra-MNC knowledge transfer by focusing on the role of repatriates as transferors of knowledge from foreign subsidiaries to the headquearters, which is an under-research topic. In particular, the paper studies the impact of repatriates´ abilities and motivation to share knowledge (disseminative capacity) on the transfer of knowledge from subsidiaries to headquarters (reverse knowledge transfer). In addition, the paper examines the determinants of repatriates´ disseminative capacity. After reviewing the relevant literature and proposing the hypotheses, this paper presents an empirical research with a sample of Spanish MNCs. The findings provide evidence that repatriates' disseminative capacity is positively associated to reverse knowledge transfer. The paper also identifies some drivers of this: the knowledge the repatriates acquired during the expatriation and the firm´s international assignments policy.
