    Morfología Fluvial.-La acción antrópica como inductora de cambios en el patrón fluvial del río Rivera de Huelva (sector Guillena-Sevilla)

    ABSTRACT This paper aims to highlight the changes that occur in hydromorphological the final stretch of a river as the Rivera de Huelva, with a catchment of more than 2000 km2, which throughout the 20th century has been a strong human intervention, for the construction of seven reservoirs for water supply in the municipality of Seville and its metropolitan area. This intense man brings an important change in the hydrological behavior of the natural river, which is reflected not only in its river system, but also in the behavior of extreme hydrological events. At the morphological changes resulting in a change in the morphologic pattern of the channel, which acquires, at present, characteristics of ephemeral river with plenty of cargo and marked incision general fund. Likewise, this trend is generating significant incision instability problems in the infrastructure.
