    Ponderales hallados en el yacimiento fenicio del Cerro del Castillo (Chiclana de la Frontera, Cádiz).

    The Phoenician site of Cerro del Castillo in Chiclana de la Frontera (Cádiz) has provided two cubic weights that can be related to a food processing area that can be dated between the IV-III centuries BC. Given their weights of 17.80 g and 28.20 g, both specimens can be registered in the Ugaritic pattern of 9.4 g that turns out to be the dominant one in this Atlantic zone, with a value of two and three shekels respectively.
