This article shows the usefulness of the MultiDimensional Scaling (MDS) a multivariate analysis technique to obtain founded inferences with good reason about different aspects, in this case, about problems related to the new reformed syllabus implemented in the Spanish university. Taking as reference the opinion of a representative sample of students from the Faculty of Education of the University of Granada, we have completed a survey study whose results have been analysed by means of MDS. These results indicate the presence of two different dimensions of problems: according to the character (structural and educational problems) and according to level of incidence (high gravity and low gravity).
