Identifying the dimensions of gender justice in the Iranian Ministry of Sport and Youth
(Universidad de Murcia, Servicio de Publicaciones, 2023) Bani Hassan, Javad; Mirzazadeh, Zahrasadat; Talebpour, Mahdi; Asgharpourmasouleh, Ahamadreza
In modern times, sports have attracted the attention of different societies. Social, economic and political functions are one of the reasons. In Iran, the role of the Ministry of Sports and Youth is very important in managing sports in the country. Justice has been supposedly one of the pillars of ethical management in organizations, along with performance improvement. One example of justice in organizations is gender justice. The aim of this study was to provide valuable information to sports activists in the country by identifying the dimensions of gender justice in the Ministry of Sports and Youth and identify ways to expand gender justice according to employees' perceptions. The current research is practical in terms of purpose and qualitative in terms of method, employing a thematic analysis strategy. The sample consisted of 7 management experts and sociologists who had studied, researched, or gained experience in the field of the present study (gender justice in organizations). The researchers used a semi-structured interview, which is suitable for qualitative research in terms of flexibility and depth. The "Inter Coder Reliability (ICR)" method was used to measure the reliability of the interviews conducted. The data were coded using MAXQDA2018 software. The results showed that perceptions of gender justice include 3 main themes (distributive justice, procedural justice and interactional justice) and 19 sub-themes. The expansion of gender justice in the Ministry of Sports and Youth, as the country's sports policy organization, can seemingly be effective in improving performance. It also has positive social and cultural effects on all sports areas of the country.

The University of A Coruña has carried out different projects from evaluation in the different calls from the different plans and programs, gathering evidences and information of all the sectors implied in the educative process. For it a series of questionnaires was elaborated that have been evolving and improving throughout the calls and programs. Before the insufficienciy, in these questionnaires, of information on the service of the PAS, we raised the possibility of our investigation. The general situation is to determine the indicators that allow to value the work of the PAS, conditions (personal, environmental...) in which this work evolves, as well as the final satisfaction of the own PAS and the one of the users of its work (professors and students), with the purpose of improving the quality of these functions and conditions, which will expert a remarkable repercussion in the good operation of the center in general and the degrees in individual.Model CIPP is followed, analyzing the referred variables to personal elements of the institution, in which we fitted our object of study: the PAS. The used sample, to make the study of our questionnaires, was chosen randomly, of the population of PAS, professors and students of the University of A Corunna. Three questionnaires were elaborated, to be been responsible for the PAS, teaching staff and pupils, respectively. These instruments have a similar structure for each one of the hearings to which they go directed, with the purpose of being able to obtain the same reflections and global analysis of the results. The questionnaires, trustworthy and are adapted to be applied like instrument to evaluate the quality of the PAS in the UDC, allowing to the Committees of Autoevaluación of the degrees or services of the university to gather evidences that help them to establish the strengths and weaknesses and to raise the opportune proposals of improvement. The dimensions and subdimensions of the variables of the model, although have experienced variations, are not significant of change, reason why we can affirm that the questionnaires are adapted to the model that previously we had designed.

The Centrality of Doubting and Checking in the Network Structure of Obsessive-Compulsive Symptom Dimensions in Youth
(Elsevier, 2020) Cervin, Matti; Perrin, Sean; Olsson, Elin; Aspvall , Kristina; Geller, Daniel A.; Wilhelm, Sabine; McGuire, Joseph; Lázaro, Luisa; Martínez-González, Agustin E.; Barcaccia, Barbara; Pozza, Andrea; Goodman, Wayne K.; Murphy, Tanya K.; Seçer, Ismail; Piqueras, José A.; Rodríguez Jiménez, Tiscar; Godoy, Antonio; Rosa-Alcázar, Ana Isabel; Rosa-Alcázar, Ángel; Ruiz-García, Beatriz M.; Storch, Eric A.; Mataix-Cols, David; Personalidad, Evaluación y Tratamiento Psicológicos
Objective: Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) is a heterogeneous condition with well- established symptom dimensions across the lifespan. The objective of the present study was to use network analysis to investigate the internal structure and central features of these dimensions in unselected schoolchildren and in children with OCD.Method: We estimated the network structure of OCD symptom dimensions in 6,991 schoolchildren and 704 children diagnosed with OCD from 18 sites across 6 countries. All participants completed the Obsessive-Compulsive Inventory—Child Version. Results: In both the school-based and clinic-based samples, the OCD dimensions formed an interconnected network with doubting/checking emerging as a highly central node, that is, exerting strong influence over other symptom dimensions in the network. The centrality of the doubting/ checking dimension was consistent across countries, sexes, age groups, clinical status, and tic disorder comorbidity. Network differences were observed for age and sex in the school-based but not the clinic-based samples. Conclusion: The centrality of doubting/checking in the network structure of childhood OCD adds to classic and recent conceptualizations of the disorder in which the important role of doubt in disorder severity and maintenance is highlighted. The present results suggest that doubting/ checking is a potentially important target for further research into the etiology and treatment of childhood OCD.
