The analysis focused on the pragmatic conditions of the task and the Relative Clauses (Rcs.) usage. The analysis allowed to recognize that, in these interactional dynamics, the plotting and use of spatial language are co-dependent phenomena, that there is interdependence between the activity of plotting and Rcs. usages and that there is a strong relationship between the frequency of Rcs. usages with the processes by which children configure and model the cognitive representations of the spaces described.
