Manejo del tiempo y el ambiente en una experiencia didáctica con instancias presenciales y virtuales

Abstract

El artículo atiende a un doble propósito. Por un lado, presenta una experiencia didáctica en la que se trabajó con estudiantes de grado, proponiendo el cursado de tres asignaturas con instancias presenciales y virtuales. Por otro lado, presenta resultados referidos al manejo del tiempo y el ambiente de estudio que hicieron los participantes de tal experiencia didáctica en el ambiente presencial y el virtual. Participaron de la experiencia 92 estudiantes que cursaban asignaturas de nivel de grado en una universidad pública argentina. Todos debieron atender tanto a la instancia presencial como a la virtual. Hacia el final del cursado dieron respuesta a un cuestionario de autoinforme que, entre otros aspectos, evalúa el uso de estrategias de regulación del tiempo y el ambiente de estudio. Se trabajó con muestras apareadas ; todos los estudiantes dieron respuesta al cuestionario en sus dos versiones: una vez, en formato presencial y respondiendo en base a sus experiencias en clase, y otra, en formato digital y centrando las respuestas en sus experiencias en la fase virtual del curso. Los resultados mostraron un mejor manejo del tiempo de estudio por parte de los estudiantes en el ambiente virtual y, en cambio, una organización más eficaz del ambiente de aprendizaje en la instancia presencial. Estos resultados son interpretados en términos de las características del grupo de alumnos, quienes no esperaban atender a una instancia virtual y por tanto no tenían fácil acceso a los recursos necesarios para hacerlo, dificultándose de este modo la organización y preparación de un ambiente ideal para aprender

The article takes care of a double intention. On the one hand, it presents a didactic experience in which one worked with college students, proposing the attended one of three subjets with traditional and virtual instances. On the other hand, it presents results referred to time and environment regulation that the participants did of such didactic experience in the traditional atmo sphere and the virtual one. 92 students participated in the experience who attended subjets in an Argentine public university. All had to take care of so much the traditional instance as to the virtual one. Towards the end they gave answer to a questionnaire that, among other aspects, evaluates the use of strategies of regulation of the time and the atmosphere of study. One worked with paired samples; all the students gave answer to the questionnaire in their two versions; once, in traditional format and responding about its experiences in class, and another one, in digital format and centering the answers in its experiences in the virtual phase of the course. The results showed a better time regulation in the virtual context and, however, a more effective organization of the learning environment in the traditional instance. These results are interpreted in terms of the characteristics of the group of students, who did not hope to take care of a virtual instance and therefore they did not have easy access to the resources necessary to do it, becoming difficult this way to the organization and preparation of an ideal atmosphere to learn
