Notas para la caracterización de la morfosintaxis de los documentos coloniales panameños.

Abstract

El presente trabajo pretende mostrar las posibilidades del estudio histórico sobre el español del Panamá colonial a partir de la descripción y el análisis de algunas características morfosintácticas que esta variedad presenta en dicha época. Se atenderá a los aspectos morfosintácticos que los documentos de archivo reflejan, teniendo en cuenta que el nivel morfosintáctico histórico ha sido ignorado o estudiado de manera desigual, especialmente, para el español americano. Asimismo, nos acercamos a las características lingüísticas del español colonial panameño, ya que, desde el punto de vista histórico, es una de las variedades más olvidadas en el mundo hispánico.

The aim of this research is to show the possibilities of the historical study on the Spanish of the colonial Panama from the description and the analysis of some morphosyntactic characteristics that this variety presents at that time. Therefore, the morphosyntactic aspects that the archival documents reflect will be considered, seeing that the historical morphosyntactic level has been very neglected and unequal for general Spanish and, especially, for American Spanish. We approach the linguistic characteristics of Panamanian colonial Spanish, since it is one of the most ignored varieties in the Hispanic world, especially from a historical point of view.
