Mesa VIII.-Historia y cristalización en Arendt

Abstract

RESUMEN La idea de cristalización en el pensamiento de Arendt resume por un lado, el intento de ‘comprensión histórica’ que se aleja de la causalidad como ley básica del devenir histórico, abriendo la posibilidad de pensar en una historia fragmentaria (Comprensión y política, Historia e Inmortalidad, Orígenes del Totalitarismo). Por otro lado, la cristalización aparece como la otra cara del paso del tiempo y a la muerte (Hombres en tiempos de oscuridad). En este caso, expresa la posibilidad abierta por la facticidad, de que el pasado se convierta en espacio para el pensamiento, para la reapertura creadora, novedosa del sentido.

ABSTRACT The cristalization idea in Arendt’s thinking resumes the chance of historic understanding, getting far from the causality as a basic law of historic becoming, opening the opportunity of thinking of a fragmentary history (Understanding and politics, History and Inmortality, Origins of Totalitarianism). By other side, the cristalization appears as the other face of the passing time and as the death (Men in Dark Times). In this case, express the condition opened by the facticity, the past become in a place of thinking, a place of creative reopening in a new sense.
