Incidencia de algunos factores educativos, sociales y afectivos en el consumo de alcohol de los adolescentes

Abstract

Se analizan diversas variables de carácter educativo para determinar su valor discriminante como factor de riesgo en la adicción al alcohol de los adolescentes. El estudio se realiza con una muestra de 1.145 adolescentes y utilizamos los siguientes instrumentos: AAIS, CAST, PPG y un Cuestionario Multivariable sobre diversos aspectos educativos en relación con el consumo de alcohol. Se obtienen dos grupos: A) No tienen información sobre los efectos del alcohol (54%). De este grupo hay un 73% que abusan del alcohol. B) Sí tienen información sobre los efectos del alcohol (46%); de este grupo el 26,4% abusan del alcohol. La diferencia de abuso del alcohol entre los dos grupos es estadísticamente significativa (P<O,OOl). La mayoría de los adolescentes que abusan del alcohol no tienen ninguna información sobre sus riesgos.

We determine the discriminant value of the educational factor as a risk factor of alcohol addition in adolescents. It is a case-control study, including a sample 011.145 individuals. We test all these adolescents with the AAIS, the CAST, the PPG and a Multivariate questionnaire including questions on alcohol information of adolescents. There are two groups: A) Don't have information about alcohol effects (54%); of this group are alcohol abusers the 73%. B) This group has information about alcohol effects (46%); of this group the 26,4% are alcohol abusers. The difference between the two groups is statiscally significant (P<O,OOl). The strongest alcohol abusers don't have any information on adverse effects of alcohol abuse.
