Una historia para la lingüística materialista.

Abstract

Trataremos de acercarnos a la influencia de Karl Marx en la teoría lingüística desde el postformalismo ruso hasta el Análisis Crítico del Discurso, ofreciendo una panorámica general de las distintas escuelas. Dilucidaremos si el Materialismo Histórico puede ser la base para una teoría lingüística válida que confronte directamente el paradigma saussureano y crear otro de raíz materialista. Además, daremos algunas características que deberían estar presentes para conformar una metodología.

We will try to approach the influence of Karl Marx on linguistic theory from Russian Formalism to Critical Discourse Analysis, offering an overview of the different schools. We will elucidate whether historical materialism can be the basis for a valid linguistic theory that directly confronts the Saussurean paradigm. In addition, we will give some characteristics that should be present to form a methodology.
