Entre les frontières des genres: pour raconter "le quotidien".

Abstract

This article will examine the challenges of three contemporary texts having a new orientation in their structure in order to represent the daily life. Drôle du temps of Benoît Duteurtre, Tu attends la neige, Léonard? and Du virtuel à la romance of Pierre Yergeau are among the texts that are diffcult to classify or to identify under one generic nomination or according to a specifc formal structure. Our study seeks to fnd a relation between the fragments and the desire of the authors to describe and to register the everyday life. However, we will rather try to justify the close link between the poetic of concision and representing the daily life. It is true that the fragmented structures and hybrid forms in literature are not an innovation in contemporary literature. Moreover, the second half of the 20th century testifes the existences of multiple forms, but our study shall explore the signifcance of such a plural form in the texts that we are examining.

Cet article examinera quelques enjeux de trois romans contemporains ayant une existence romanesque de nouvelle orientation pour représenter le quotidien. Drôle du temps de Benoît Duteurtre, Tu attends la neige, Léonard ? et Du virtuel à la romance de Pierre Yergeau se trouvent parmi les textes romanesques diffciles à classer ou à identifer en une seule appellation générique ou sous une seule structure formelle. Notre étude cherchera à trouver une relation entre les fragments et micro-récits de ces récits et la volonté de leurs auteurs d’y transcrire le quotidien. Cela dit, nous allons plutôt essayer de justifer et d’examiner la relation très intime se créant entre la forme de concision et la poétique du quotidien. Il est vrai que la forme fragmentée et hybride n’est pas une nouveauté dans la littérature contemporaine. D’ailleurs, la deuxième moitié du XXe siècle témoigne de l’apparition des romans multiformes mais notre étude tentera d’explorer la signifcation d’une telle forme plurielle dans ces textes.
