Aportaciones de la palinología en la reconstrucción del impacto ganadero, en los alrededores de Rascafría (Madrid), durante el Holoceno reciente

Abstract

We present the results obtained from the palaeoecological studies about human impact on the vegetal landscape of a peatbog located in Rascafría (Lozoya Valley, Madrid, Central Spain). Palynomorph analysis allows to identify the kind and intensity of human activity and its relation to the trophic changes in the peatbog during the late Holocene (2455±35 BP). Pollen record reveals an anthropic Mediterranean landscape mainly composed by pastures used for grazing. Non Pollen Palynomorphs (NPP) and pH and conductivity sediment have revealed as useful tools for detection of trophic conditions and land use changes.
