Adaptación de los procedimientos y técnicas de estampación al área artística de la enseñanza secundaria

Abstract

En un mundo dominado por la tecnología, donde las nuevas generaciones, nativos digitales, están cada vez más acostumbrados a la recompensa inmediata, creo que es tremendamente necesario ofrecer al alumnado más joven una enseñanza práctica, experimental y activa, que fomente el trabajo en equipo, desarrollando la empatía y la tolerancia, a la vez que mejora su habilidad para manejar la frustración. Este proyecto intenta dar respuesta a esta necesidad educativa compleja, usando para ello un sistema de expresión basado en la estampa.

De este modo, el objeto de estudio de esta tesis se centra en los procedimientos y técnicas de estampación y su aplicación al área artística de la enseñanza secundaria, tanto de la etapa obligatoria como de bachillerato. Mi intención con esta investigación ha sido doble. Por un lado pretendo aclarar y estructurar los conceptos relativos a este campo y, por otro, adaptarlos y simplificarlos para hacerlos asequibles a cualquier estudiante de la etapa de educación secundaria.

A lo largo de los capítulos que componen esta tesis podemos encontrar primero una revisión de los sistemas conocidos de creación de una matriz, donde he clasificado los procedimientos existentes en cinco categorías, ampliando en una las cuatro tradicionales. A continuación, he recopilado y estructurado los distintos sistemas de estampación, diferenciando los monocromáticos de los policromáticos. Y finalmente, he realizado mi contribución personal al campo de estudio que nos ocupa, desarrollando un sistema de enseñanza de las bases de estos procedimientos.

Esta propuesta personal pretende ser un método creativo y dinámico de iniciar en este campo al alumnado no experimentado. Pero su objetivo no se limita al desarrollo de las habilidades motrices de los estudiantes, sino que busca fomentar el espíritu de innovación de estos, obligándoles a replantearse los conocimientos adquiridos, reelaborando lo aprendido con un medio expresivo distinto al que han conocido hasta el momento. Todo esto ayuda al alumnado a realizar un aprendizaje significativo al tener que interiorizar los conceptos propuestos para poder usarlos por ellos mismos, ampliando su lenguaje expresivo y llegando a un conocimiento verdaderamente efectivo a largo plazo. En esta propuesta además, el trabajo experimental y la colaboración son muy importantes, siendo también fundamental el desarrollo de la conciencia medioambiental a través del uso de materiales eco-responsables, seguros tanto para la salud del alumnado como para el medio ambiente.

ABSTRACT

In a world dominated by technology, where new generations, digital natives, are increasingly accustomed to get an immediate reward, I think it is tremendously necessary to offer the youngest students a practical, experimental and active teaching that fosters teamwork, developing empathy and tolerance, while improving their ability to handle frustration. This project attempt to respond to these complex educational needs, using for it a system of expression based on the stamp.

Thus, the main object of study of this thesis focuses on the procedures and techniques of stamping and its application to the artistic area of secondary education, both the compulsory stage and the baccalaureate. My intention with this investigation has been double. On the one hand I intend to clarify and structure the concepts related to this field and, on the other hand, adapt and simplify them to make them accessible to any student in the secondary education stage.

Throughout the chapters that make up this thesis we can first find a review of the known systems for creating a plate, where I have classified them into five categories, increasing in one the four traditional. Next, I have compiled and structured the different printing systems, differentiating monochromatic and polychromatic. And finally, I have made my personal contribution to the field of study that concerns us, developing a system that teaches the foundations of these procedures.

This personal proposal aims to be a creative and dynamic method to initiate non-experienced students in this field. But its objective is not limited to the development of students’ motor skills, but seeks to encourage the spirit of innovation of these, forcing them to rethink the knowledge acquired, reworking what they have learned, to express it with a different environment from what they have known so far. All this helps the students to make a significant learning by having to internalize the proposed concepts, in order to be able to use them by themselves, expanding their expressive language and arriving at truly effective long term knowledge. In this proposal also, experimental work and collaboration are very important, being also fundamental the development of environmental awareness through the use of eco-responsible materials, safe both for students health and for the environment.
